Well I have an idea for a short story called “Fragments” or “Shattered” or maybe “Broken Beauty”
It’s about a woman suffering from Barbie Syndrome (yes it is a REAL illness (thank you very much Barbie)) and this woman has a break down because she was going out and saw that ONE hair was out of place or maybe her make-up wasn’t right.
She starts freaking out and goes insane because she is so paranoid of people seeing her “when she isn’t perfect” and is put into a mental insitution.

Her doctor has several interviews with her to monitor how she is going and records the conversations they have. One day the woman asks for a glass of water, the doctor gives it to her and she tios the water on to the floor and smiles at the glass.

To her, the glass is perfect and she begins to get better when she has ‘the perfect glass’ with her. Then one day the glass breaks and she has another breakdown bigger than her one before. She doesnt speak to the doctor, or eat or sleep. She just sits there in a ball next to the broken glass.
Days go by and the doctor has since cleaned the glass away but brings her another glass object made from the shattered glass: maybe a swan or a butterfly or something? The end

Ok here are me questions:
1. what do you think?
2. I as thinking about having the woman have a first person perspective but like a poem e.g
“I have the glass
My perfection
Doctor is happy that I am smiling
‘Making good progress’
He says
I am happy
I have my glass”

And then maybe the doctors perspective will be in the recorded interviews just typed up and with commentations by himself?

3. what do you think of the title?
4. can you think of ANYTHING else to make this better?
I should explain the glass

The glass, in her eyes, is perfect. Since she was so obsessed with being perfect, she felt lost. Then she saw the glass and thought that, although it was simple, it was perfect to her. She found her pefection again.
When it broke she lost herself again.

When the glass got turned into somthing else, it wasn’t what it was before but it was a different kind of perfection.

so, my 11 year old sister wants to wear contact lenses instead of glasses.

ok so im 11, i wear glasses and i hate them!
there so diffuclt to keep clean (but i do clean them very often), and its annoying because i can contstanly see my frames and it really annoys me.. also, for gym, i have to take them off and then i can barely see!
So, my parents say that im too young, i don tknow if they think im not responsible or what? but i really am. they asked my brother (who wears glasses) i dont know how they could trust him. your lucky if he cleans his glasses once a week.and contacts? well he’d get an eye infection..
i clean my glasses at the least 3 times a day, have a cat, hamster, and chinchilla that i take care of on my own, and i dont know y they think i cant take care of contacts. i take care of my face, body, everything, i can take care of contacts, i know what u have to do everyday and yea, i would do that.
y do you think they wont let me get them? i cry whenever i think about how i cant wear contacts. And ummm this is random but last night i had a dream that i got contacts, and when i woke up, i was like bawling because i really want contacts!

How in the world do I get this clean? I honestly don’t think it is possible. None of the traditional bathroom cleaners seem to work. PLEASE give me working ideas…preferably one that won’t put my arm in a sling!…lol
