How to Reduce Clutter in Kitchen – as part of the expert series by GeoBeats. The Kitchen is usually where the family starts to gather sometimes. Meals are being prepared you are rushing kids off to school. It needs to be a place where you can access things easily as well as be nice and clean for when your preparing food. One of my number one tips for organizing any area in the house is that if it takes five minutes or less do it now. So we are talking about the kitchen when you have dishes that your doing, you finish eating a lot of times they just get stuck in the sink. Take that extra second to put them in the dishwasher. If you have a dishwasher it is a great tool to utilize. But go ahead and take those dishes and put them in the dishwasher as soon as your done eating. That way your not spending more time in the later end of things putting them away. When there is a big stack of dishes in the sink and than you cannot get to your sink to prepare meals and things like that. Another one of my tips is to use a lazy susan in you cabinet. You can find a lazy susan at your local store that carries containers. You may have to search for it in the kitchen department but they are really great. As you can see there is all these oils up here that I use for cooking and it is still located by my stove, but it is not taking up counter top space. I am able to see everything that I have but it is still accessible for me to just pull down and put back up. Another great tip for your

I’m doing a bunch of cleaning tonight since my brother wont help clean the bathrooms and i know the kitchen floor doesn’t get it’s upkeeping either. The floors are tile but i don’t know what to use to dissinfect and clean the floor. A friend told me to get a swiffer wet jet and just use that? I need something that’s really going to dissinfect and kill germs. Any help would be great. Also any cleaning advice at all would be helpful! Or how to keep things clean. Anything at all would be cool. I’m the only girl in the house and my mom isn’t around anymore to teach me how to do all this stuff. Thanks :)

i need help brainstorming how i can best keep my hardwood parque kitchen floor clean?

Here’s the problem: i have a hardwood parque kitchen floor. i have no garage and the main entrance to my home is through the kitchen. i have 2 dogs, a husband, a 10 yr. old, and a 10 month old. with the baby crawling- the poor thing is constantly dirty from my funky floor. i vacuum and mop and it is still always dirty. i currently have a long, rectangular area rug in front of the door to try to catch some of the dirt but i know from past experience with area rugs that it really won’t do the trick. any thoughts on a more permanent and effective solution (other than getting rid of the dogs:) )
