Guys: what are some shower products you like that don’t smell too strong?

My boyfriend is generally a very clean guy. He showers twice a day, but he rarely uses soap or shampoo, and doesn’t use deodorant. Most of the time I’m okay with that -he washes his hands, brushes his teeth, combs his hair, and usually smells okay- but it’s been over 80 degrees here…I don’t mind a bit of smell, but it’s just getting a bit gross. I was thinking of getting him some stuff, but I don’t know what sort of stuff to get for a dude.

He sweats a lot and has some problems with oily skin. (I know it sounds gross, but it’s usually not.) He is also prone to migraines, and when he has a migraine, he’s ultra-sensitive to smell. He also hates the smell of Axe and other stuff like that. He’ll never admit it, but he has sensitive skin.

Athletic guys -and all other guys too- what shower stuff do you use? Do you know any brands that have unscented stuff? A 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner would also be good for him. He’s got thick, curly hair.

Oh, and if you were in this situation, how would you want your girlfriend to bring this up? We’ve been together for 3 years (We’re teens, so obviously not living together) and we usually have really open communication, but I don’t want to hurt his feelings. I was thinking of giving him the bag and saying, “I thought you might like this stuff.” If he asks why, I’d be more blunt, “I like the way you smell, but it’s been overpowering lately.” I know every guy is different, but how would you dudes react to that?

He’s gotten me perfume a few times and I wouldn’t be offended if he got me body wash or something like that. Like I said before, he usually smells fine and is pretty clean, but the smell is getting to be a bit strong. It’s also something he’s a bit self-conscious about, but since he’s a guy I don’t think it’s crossed his mind to actually go and buy some deodorant xP
