Last night we had a really bad storm. And our basement flooded. After fixing the problem most of the water drained out. But it has left a lot of dirt all over the floors. They are also still damp. I am not sure how to clean this. It is such a big mess!!! It there a good and easy (I still know it will be a big task) to clean the floors…Thanks for any help
We do have a shop vac and We have found that it was easier to just let the water be and drain out. This is the second time this has happen since we started renting. The first time was no where near as bad. Our land lord doesnt care too much about it and would rather us out. And it is just much easier to not say anything to him and do things ourselves.

i have sandblasted or honed glass floor tiles. if i do not clean it straight away when it gets dirty then dirt sticks to the surface and stays there. i have tried bleeching it. it works but is not very practical as i ahev to leave bleech for about 30mins before wiping it off.

any ideas on how to clean these tiles and then how to make them dirt repellant? is there some porduct i can apply that will keep dirt away?

many thanks

How can I make my shower floor tiles scum / soap residue resistant?

How can I make my shower floor tiles scum / soap residue resistant? I just bought brand new tiles, and made a mistake of choosing a dark brownish/redish/orangeish tile for my shower floor. it looks awesome, except after anyone takes a shower, it dries up with whitish residue mostly around the sides. What can I do (besides cleaning it after every shower) to make the tile resistant to the white stuff?
